W. Carrington & Company (ca. 1838-1901) Charleston, SC Julep Cup Ca. 1859 Silver Inscribed: Julius D. Ravenel/1859 and Emily S. Farrow Transfer from the estate of Emily Farrow This cup has a tapering cylindrical body and beaded upper and lower edges. It is stampled on the underside with London hallmarks and is engraved Julius D. Ravenel/1859. A later inscription reads, Emily S. Ravenel.
