Description

Carved wooden pediment designed in the Federal Adamesque style. Features carved vertical designs and oval spiderwebbed rosettes on the trusses, with rope molding around the bottom and top of the entablature. The denticulated molding at the top is filled in with small circles in each opening. Fair condition. 14" x 68" in dimension. 4/11/2017: Item details copied from the record created by Laurel Bartlett, Clemson University Graduate Program in Historic Preservation. Item had not previously been cataloged by HCF nor documented as part of Loan #20.
