New York' Image depicting full figure of standing man wearing black suit with vest, white shirt and neckercheif, black coat and shoes; right hand resting on table covered with cloth having flower and leaf border decoration, 2 books on table; behind Webster is armchair having shaped mahogany crest rail, upholstered back and seat, shaped molded and padded arms, on bulbous turned legs on casters; statue of Jefferson in Rotunda in background; in molded wood frame with gilt inner border and ebonized outer border. Condition: Very badly discolored and foxed - mold appears to be growing under glass
