Description

Two Rococo Revival chairs with five layers of laminated rosewood.

General Notes

Note

The Charleston Museum transferred them on 9/15/2025. They were originally in the Aiken - Rhett House. The pair is identical except for the fabric. Possibly Joseph Meeks of NY. Rococo Revival period 1850-1855. Further research needed.
