Description

Street scene at Spring Street where Chestnut Street intersects. The area appears to have a mix of commercial and residential buildings. On the left side of the street are a Phillips 66 gas station, Jake's Garage, Andrew's Garage, and a diner with a burger sign out front; also there's a public telephone sign at the far left of the photo. On the right side of the street is a sign for the Patio Drive-In. There are 2 billboards behind the sign, one for "A Finer Beer Year After Year" (brand name obstructed by drive-in sign) and for Zeigler Radio Co. on 254 King Street. Pedestrians on sidewalk and vehicles on the street.
