Coffee Grinder

Description

A wooden body coffee grinder with a flat brass hopper. There is a knob on the front for adjusting the grind. The hopper slides open so that the beans can be put in. On the front of the body there is a crown-shaped plate that reads: "Moulin Brevete Conlaux & CIE Molsheim" This grinder was made in France by Colaux & Cie. of Molsheim, they were the first French company to receive a coffee mill patent in 1829. Molsheim is near Strasbourg, which is on the border of France and Germany.
