Pinball Game

Description

The pinball game is a rectangle shape. There are picture of mules or donkeys, a cat and a monkey on front. Dial in the center of the board with numbered points, 5, 10, 15, 20 and a hand that spins. Numbers along the bottom, 5, 0, 5, 10, 0. Plunger with pin spring loaded to punch marbles. Multiple colors including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. Text: "Place the green block under the top of the board to make the incline. Patented March 25th, 1890. Rules of the game: Each player shoots in turn, and is entitled to all he counts. The game may be 50 points, or more, as agreed. The pins must be placed on the spots so marked, and count when knocked over by the ball; it must always be set at the point marked x. Manufactured by J.H. Singer, New York, U.S.A." Jasper Hamlet Singer was the son of the founder of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. He was born in 1847 and manufactured games from around 1880 until 1902 when he filed for bankruptcy.
