Ford kerosene driving lantern painted black with brass highlights The base of the lantern is circular and has a brass ring around the top. There is a round, wick-adjusting knob near the top of of the base. The lantern body is cube-shaped and has three sides with circular glass reflectors. The back side has a bracket attachment. The front reflector is red and its frame opens on a hinge. The left side reflector is blue, and the right side reflector is clear. The top of the lantern is also generally cylindrical and has three discs around it, the bottom and middle having circular vents around them.
