LanternDescription
Four kerosene bicycle lamps (A-D) made of silver-colored metal.
A-B: Lanterns A and B are identical save for some condition differences. The bases of the lamps are cylindrical and have vertical grooves around the middle. The lamp screws into the base at the top and has a somewhat horizontal, cylindrical body. Both lamps have a conical reflector on the front with a glass window. There is a key-shaped knob on the right side of the lamp to adjust the light. There are green, gem-shaped reflectors on the right and left sides of the body, and a large, dome-shaped fuel canister attached to the back. Object A has a cap with a small tube, but object B does not have a cap for the fuel canister. The top of the lamp has a disc-shaped lid with floral patterns and an inscription. The back of the lamp has an arm that extends out of the base and has a circular clap. There is green felt inside the clamps.
C: This lantern is identical to objects A and B, except it is missing the clamp arm on the back of the lamp. There is a different design near the rim of the front reflector as well, and a different inscription on the bottom of the lantern.
D: The lantern has a somewhat spherical bottom with vertical grooves around the middle. The lantern screws into the base at its top and has a somewhat horizontal, cylindrical shape. There is a large, cone-shape reflector on the front with a glass window, and two green, gem-shaped reflectors on the right and left sides, respectively. The back of the lamp has a circular fuel canister that is capped at the top. The cap has a metal tube that extends upward. The back of the lantern has a circular protrusion that a clamp attaches to, but that clamp is missing. The top of the lamp has a star pattern with an inscription and horizontal openings on the side.Made/Created
