Name/Title

Lantern

Description

Two kerosene driving lamps (A-B). Both lanterns are identical save for some minor condition differences, and both are made of metal. The bases of the lamps are cylindrical and tall, with an upward-facing, dome-shaped section at the top that holds up a rectangular body. Two sides of the bodies are flat metal, and two sides are clear glass. There is a small oil burner with a wick inside both lamps. On one of the metal sides, there is a bracket with a square-headed screw in the side. These brackets allow the lamps to attach to a vehicle. The other flat metal side has a circular, blue glass reflector in the center. The side with the reflector is also a panel that swings open from a hinge at the top and clasps at the bottom. The tops of the lamps are rectangular and have short, vertical vents around the edges.
