The other layer has a large section of the glass missing, and both are cylindrical in shape. The inside of the lamp has a dome-shaped burner with a slot in the top. A metal wire frame surrounds the chimneys and consists of six vertical metal bars with two horizontal rings attached to them. The top of the lantern is somewhat bell-shaped, with a flat, circular disc at the bottom, cone-shaped midsection with vents, and a flat top with a bevel in the center.
