Lantern

Description

Kerosene driving lantern made of metal and painted black. The lamp has a cylindrical shape and brackets on either side, which are secured with bolts and can be adjusted height-wise. The bracket loops underneath the lamp and acts as a base. The front of the lamp has a panel that swings open. This panel also houses the reflector, which is made of glass and has a concentric circle pattern. The panel opens via hinge and closes with clasps. The top of the lantern has a somewhat conical cap There are diamond-shaped holes around the side near the bottom, and a flat, circular portion at the top with an inscription. Made by: "Adlake" or the Adams & Westlake Company.
