Description

Kerosene night driving lantern. The lantern is made of metal and painted black. The base of the lantern is circular and the body has a horizontal, cylindrical shape. There is a large, circular glass reflector on the front of the lantern houses in a conical metal frame. The frame swings open via hinge on the left and clasps on the right side. The top of the lamp is cylindrical and fluted, with a circular cap on the top. There is a circular wire handle attached around the bottom of the upper portion of the lantern. The back of the lantern body has a red reflector with inscriptions. Text on lantern: "DIETZ", "NIGHT DRIVER'S FRIEND STYLE A", "REGU PATENT OFFICE", "PATENTED JAN 16, 97 - JAN 2, 06", "SEPT 25, 06 - NOV 6, 06 - JAN 22, 07"
