Description

Large Dietz kerosene lantern and the base of the lantern is large, short, and cylindrical. There is a fuel cap at the front of the base and a burner in the center. The burner consists of a wick-adjusting knob, a ring of circular vents, and a dome-shaped vent. The glass chimney sits on top of the burner and has a circular, glass reflector secured to the front. The chimney is enclosed by two crossed metal wires and surrounded by a large, rectangular frame. The frame holds up the cap to the chimney, which is cylindrical and has a circular disc around the center. The top of the lantern has a flat, dome shape with a small, circular handle.
