Name/Title

Lantern

Description

Large kerosene lamp made of metal and has a large frame, likely for mounting to a wall. The base of the lamp is trapezoidal, with a rounded portion at the front. Above the front of the frame sits the burner, which is comprised of a round knob off the right side, a metal right with circular vents, and a dome-shaped emitter in the center. The emitter has a slot in the top for the wick. The glass chimney, which has a somewhat pear-like shape, sits on top of the burner. There is a large structure at the back of the lantern that extends upward and over the chimney, capping it at its top opening. The cap is cylindrical and has a disc around the bottom. The top also somewhat disc-shaped. There is a circular attachment on the back structure near the base, which is circular and likely where a reflector attaches. There is also a small, circular fuel cap on the left side of the base.
