Description

Gasoline lamp and glass chimney (A-B). A; Large, hanging gas lamp made of metal. The lamp has a somewhat cylindrical section at the top, which has a hook on the top as well as a fuel cap. The gasoline travels from this canister through a curved tube down to the burner. Just below the canister, there is a decorative spiral in the metalwork, and below that a ruffled, circular reflector attached to a hook. The burner is located at the bottom of the lamp and consists of a cylindrical base with a large, round knob, several metal tabs around the side to hold the chimney, and a cylindrical burner in the center. B: Cylindrical glass lamp chimney. The glass is clear and has a slightly opaque portion near the bottom. The top tapers inward slightly to a cylinder that is smaller in diameter. There is an inscription near the top.
