Description

This is a toy saucer made by the Ohio Art Company in Bryan, OH. This design was created by Fern Bisel Peat, a well-known children's illustrator in the 1930s. The edge is green and the body is yellow. It is part of a matching tea set. There is an image of a girl in pigtail braids carrying a green plate with cups on it. The girl is wearing a red dress, a white apron and blue shoes. The saucer is about 4.5" in diameter. "Made in the U.S.A. 21" is in red lettering along the bottom edge of the plate.
