Toy Saucer

Description

This is a toy saucer made by the Ohio Art Company in Bryan, OH. This design was created by Fern Bisel Peat, a well-known children's illustrator in the 1930s. The edge is red and the body is yellow. It is part of a matching tea set. There is an image of a boy sitting with a bandage on his face. He is wearing green pants and a plaid shirt with red shoes. "Fern Bisel Peat" appears under the boy's hand in black, with a red "21". The saucer is about 2.5" in diameter.
