Defroster, WindshieldDescription
Car defroster windshield (A) and small switch for defroster with wires coming out the back (B).
A: Windshield for a motor vehicle with defrosting wires stretched across the glass. The glass windshield is rectangular and has rounded corners. It is held in place by a metal frame, which has four suction cups attached to it, one in each corner. On one end, there is an attachment for the switch (B) near a suction cup. On the inner side, there is a layer of felt along the frame. Three copper wires stretch across the length of the glass on the inner side and are attached to the frame on each end.
B: Small switch for the windshield defroster. The switch consists of a yellow knob attached to a circular mechanism. The circular mechanism has a clamp attached so it can be secured inside the vehicle. There are two cables protruding out the back of the circular mechanism, one brown and one orange. The orange cable has a copper tab connector that likely attaches to a power source. The brown cable is longer splits off two ways, one with another tab and the other with a rectangular box with two holes that connects to the attachment on the windshield itself. Both cables are covered in fabric.
