Lantern

Description

Small metal mining lantern consisting of a base (A) and a canister with a reflector (B). A: The base of the lantern is cylindrical and made of brass-colored metal. There is a black ring around the base with trapezoidal teeth on the inside and inscriptions on the outside. The base has a large, circular opening in the top with grooves for the canister to attach. B: The canister screws into the base and has a somewhat box-like top. There is a metal tab attached to the back with a vertical slit, allowing the lantern to attach to something. The top of the canister has a circuarl cap that opens via hinge and gives access to the fuel. There is also a metal hook attached to the center. The reflector is silver-colored and reflective and attached to the front of the lantern. There is a small wheel screwed to one side, which lights the fuel. The reflector is held to the body by a wingnut.
