Description

Very large candle lantern. The lantern frame is made of wood and has a square base. The sides are rectangular and have glass windows that slid in from the top. There is a square, wooden cap at the top, which has a half-cylindrical piece of metal covering a circular hole. There is a looped metal handle attached to the top as well. In the center of the lantern, there is a small saucer-like candleholder with some melted wax inside. At the base of the lantern, there are four small posts that support it. One of the sides swings open on a hinge and has a small nail that acts as a latch.
