Description

E-M-F Model 30 Roadster nameplate. The plate has metal shaped into the letters "E-M-F" at the top and shaped into the number "30" wrapped in ribbon at the bottom. There are four holes, one in each corner of the plate that attached it to the radiator on the front of the vehicle. E-M-F was run by Barney Everitt, William Metzger, and Walter Flanders from 1908 to 1912. They had factories in Detroit and across the border in Canada. They were contracted in 1908 by Studebaker to make vehicles that would be distributed through Studebaker's wagon dealers.
