Coffee MillDescription
Enterprise No. 2 red cast iron coffee mill. The wheels on both sides are each 8 3/4" diameter. Inside wheel is the number #2007, and the number #2006 on the drive wheel with the handle. The front of mill has seal of two gold coins; the left has a seated female in Grecian apparel. The right coin states "National Exhibit" across the top. Center of right coin states "Award --------- United States Patent Pending" and a date in Roman Numerals - date not clear - perhaps 1877. There is a porcelain handle on the drawer.

The Enterprise Manufacturing Company of Philadelphia, PA was founded in 1866. John Gullick Baker joined the company in 1869.
