Coffee Mill

Description

Wall mounted coffee mill with a china hopper and blue Dutch-type designs on each side. States "Koffie" on front. The wood and metal are painted a cream color. The mill has a wooden lid, metal gear box, and a rectangular glass container held beneath gear box. Wooden knob on handle. The text embossed on the mill is, "Pe De". Manufactured by Peter Dienes, founded his PeDe company in Remscheid, Germany in 1869, and it was taken over by his sons after his death in 1899. PeDe closed its doors in 1962.
