Description

Two metal candle lanterns (A-B). A: The lantern is made entirely of metal and has a cylindrical shape. The sides of the lantern are full of holes, poked out from the inside and serving as decorative ventilation. The vents have circular designs with lines that radiate out from the center and a dotted, rectangular border. There is a panel on the front that gives access to the candle holder inside. The panel swings open on a hinge and clasps shut. There is a white candle inside held up by a cylindrical holder. The top of the lantern is conical and has more vents along the top and bottom, as well as three circular holes around the middle. A circular handle is attached to the very top. B: The lantern is cylindrical and made of metal. The sides have holes poked out from the inside that serve as decorative ventilation. The holes have an elaborate pattern. The panel on the front of the lantern is slightly offset and doesn't line up with the top and bottom of the body. It swings open on two hinges and clasps shut. There is a cylindrical candle holder on the inside of the lantern. The top of the lantern has a conical shape, and does not line up with the top of the body. It is stored upside down on top of the lantern. The top has vents along the top and bottom and circular holes around the middle. The handle is missing or broken off.
