Military Pith Helmet, dated 1882 inside. Wide gold braid & tassle, attachment for spear of spire on top. Black felt,button with crossed sabre's on side, leather strap around hat. Paper label on inside, Military, May 1882, 39 West 14th St., N.Y. (maker not legible) Additional gold braid. There is also a C that is yet to be located, perhaps the plume.Acquisition
