Postcard in sepia tones showing the California Room of the Memorial Contenential Hall D.A.R. in Washington, D.C. The photo on the front features a room with two ornate rugs, a settee under a large window with the curtains pulled back, and what appear to be lamps on either side of the window. There is an armchair to the R of the settee, and a grandfather clock to the L. on the L side of the postcard there is a tall cabinet and a folded table. On the R side of the photo there is a door, another painting, and a side table with items (candlestick and inkwell?) on it, and a chair between the table and the door.
This postcard does not have any handwritten correspondence on the back. It is a divided card template, with two brief descriptions written along the L vertical edge and in the center. The edge says "Published by Mt. Vernon Chapter D.A.R." and the center says "Post Cards of Quality. - The Albertype Co., Brooklyn, N.Y.Acquisition
