New York Central Trainman Cap. Cap is black silk cloth top, , ridged ribbon band, 2 holes each side for ventalization. Fron metal plate says - "New York Central, New York Central System, Trainman. Plate is silver with blue oval in center with lettering. Size is 7 1/4. Made by a. G. Meier and Co., 205 W. Monroe St., Chicago, Illinois, Manufactures of Uniforms Caps. Cap. belonged to Viola Brystrum's son - August L. Brystrum from July 27, 1916 to August 23, 1961. Donated by Viola L Brystrum.
