Description

Brass horse bit with leather strap and iron buckle. There are four rings still attached to the bit for additional straps and the harness.

Use

Part of a horse's tack, the bit is placed in the horse's mouth, giving the rider control of the horse's head. This allows for the rider to control not only the direction of the horse but also help control its speed.
