One in a series of ten black and white photographs of the Fromberger-Harkness House at 5501 Germantown Avenue, under renovations circa 1952-1953. The home would become that of the Germantown Mutual Fire Insurance Company and later, the Germantown Historical Society and Historic Germantown. Here, job superintendant Don Cuthill [as noted on reverse of photo] poses for the camera in what would become the "drawing room" of the Insurance Company, with the stairs leading to the second floor visible through the doorway behind him.
