Hard cover. Three printed articles have been combined within a protective hard cover to form a book.
This book is a collection of three articles concerning early German settlers in Pennsylvania. Those articles are as follows:
1. "A Plain People" by Edward W. Hocker regarding the German "plain sects". It is a printed article but the publication provenance cannot be determined.
2. "Among the Dunkers" by Nelson Lloyd, printed in Scribner's Magazine, Volume XXX, No. 5, November, 1901. It contains a discussion of the german "Dunker" sect.
3. "The Moravians and Their Festival" by Ernest Hamlin Abbott. This article details the Moravian "sect". The publication provenance cannot be determined.
A bookplate found Inside the Front Cover indicates this book was presented to The Germantown Historical Society by the Estate of Dr. Naaman H. Keyser.
