Description
Black and white aerial view of the intersection of Pelham Road and Hortter Street. The large stone single house at 368 Pelham Road is visible within the "Y" of the intersection; 367 Pelham Road is across the street, to the left. The railroad tracks of the Chestnut Hill West Line of the former Pennsylvania Railroad are at the far left. Note the open area of rough, relatively unimproved property in the foreground. In the early 1900s, Pelham was still relatively rural, despite considerable amounts of construction in the 1890s.
