Black and white photograph of "Santa" as he waves to the crowd on Chelten Avenue in front of Allen's Department Store, immediately before making his ascent up the ladder next to him. The ladder leads to a window in one of the upper floors of Allen's Department Store, which is visible at the right. View is east on Chelten Avenue facing towards Germantown Avenue.
