Description

Long rectangular camera (A) fits tightly in open top leather case (B). Camera has leather handle on top, along with brass turning mechanism, aperture (?ES) regulator, viewer. Front is hinged at bottom edge and has 1 large center hole and 2 small glass covered holes. Marks: "CAMERA SOLD BY: BUCHANNAN & BROMELY & CO. PHILA"; also a label: "Used by Jacob Kephart at Church LA, Germantown 1856"
