Rectangular-shaped component with five holes at one end and three at the other. Handwritten on top of case in script, "Case for Letters. Made and used by me in 62 while in the wing (?) of the Potomac. F.A. Davis." Rectangular adhesive accession label on top is off-white with black numbers, "1194".
