Description

Colonial Revival ladder-back side chair with pierced serpentine crest rail and three pierced serpentine slats. Slip seat with blue wool needlepoint cover with floral center inside square floral border. Straight front legs; slightly curved rear legs. Edges beaded. Rear legs are chamfered. Label on rear inside seat rail reads: S. Tross Cabinet Maker 11 W. Rittenhouse St. Germantown
