The Wanamaker Diary of 1925, written by Herman Schlimm, formerly of 225 Apsley Street.
One of a series of 15 diaries giving the details of the family life of the Schlimms, in Germantown, North Philadelphia, and Center City. A few days' entries are typed, and are inserted as loose pages into the diary.
Soem entries were made later- in 1927, 1930, 1931, 1932, and 1934. It is not clear as to whether any 1925 entries were made, as not all entries are dated. Many entries include sayings, slogans, and whiticisms. The author[s] of this diary are unclear, as the writing style is quite different from that found in Schlimm's other diaries, which tend to be full of factual, and very detailed information.Collection
