Woman's dress. Elaborate white brocaded silk. Basque fitted and decollete, edged with pleated ruffle and multicolored fringe. Buttoned up front. Sleeves short with fringe. Elaborate fantail back with double piping and fringe. Very full skirt, slight train. Puffed and fringed foundation of deeper colored silk. Ruffles of brocade decorated with pink flowers, green leaves, and lavender medallions. Beautiful white velvet embroidered bag. Fine leghorns bonnet. Very full and starched petticoat.Provenance
