GHS True Accession Book #1433, "Drum bought from Mr. George Wolf, a drummer, without a rival, by Mr. Thos. F. Watson, Sr. Drum was used at the Battle of Gettysburg and Antedam Creek. Also played in many G.A.R parades in Germantown and G.A.R conventions. Mr. Wolf belonged to the buck tail regiment of Ellis Post No. 6."
