James Robinson is the only player identified in the photo. He is standing in the back row, fourth from the right. A reference on the back of this photo suggests the photo was taken on or near Matthews Street in East Germantown. The closest open area to this street available to play football at the time would have been at the Lonnie B. Young Recreation Center. A review of the houses along the adjacent street suggests the houses in the back are those on the 1100 block of East Woodlawn Street.
