Description
Two black and white photos of flooding at the intersection of Belfield Avenue and Church Lane, c.1970. Belfield Avenue would frequently flood, due to its low-lying position and location in the right of way of a former creek bed (Wingohocking Creek). Both views are undated but were perhaps taken circa 1970.
2014.16.222- a view facing west along Church Lane, just east of its intersection with Belfield Avenue.
2014.16.223- firemen and police clear drains and clean up after a flood at or near the intersection of Belfield Avenue and Church Lane; this photo was taken after the flooding event shown in 2014.16.222.
