This "book" is actually an expense ledger of George Washington during the Revolutionary War in his own handwriting from June, 1775 to June, 1783. A bookplate found Inside the Front Cover indicates this book was a gift to the Site and Relic Society of Germantown (now known as The Germantown Historical Society) from Charles M. Ballantine in November, 1908.
