This book would best be described as a "ptoof copy", in that it appears to have been privately published by Jellett and is composed of newspaper clippings attached to each page with a handwritten Index and many edit marks on various pages. Three additional copies (actually published) exist in the Library stacks at L-7, 4 (2104.28.1127) and L-7, 5 (2010.216.1) and L-7, 5a (2013.11.1). A bookplate found inside the Front Cover indicates this book was a gift to The Site and Relic Society of Germantown (now known as The Germantown Historical Society) from Edwin C. Jellett in October, 1909.
