Description

Color print of an interior stairway at Grumblethorpe [5269 Germantown Avenue], date unknown but perhaps from circa 1940. This view is shown after tenant Bill Goodell fixed it up to use as his studio, starting in around 1934. Several paintings are hanging from the walls, and period furniture is visible under the stairs.
