Page 36a-e includes five newspaper clippings of the obituary and photographs of First Lieutenant Harold C. Cupitt, who died during World War I. According to one article [36b], "Confirmation of his death was received by the young man's wife yesterday at her home, 272 High Street, Germantown. His body was buried near where he fell." If can be judged by the next article [36c], his wife, nee Eva R. Harting, was pregnant with their son, Harold D. Cupitt, Jr., when the father died. Eva was at 20 East Johnson Street shortly after the birth of Harold Jr.
