Clippings and memorabilia from World War I scrapbook compiled by Dr. Naaman H. Keyser, page 146.
A single undated newspaper clipping is glued to page 146, clipped from the Sunday Dispatch. At the top of the clipping is the headline "Our Soldier Boy." Beneath this is a photo of Lieutenant David E. Watson, who "is Republican candidate for Clerk of the Quarter Sessions Courts and is receiving the united support of service men for the nomination at the primary election on September 16th. Watson has an admirable record in the world war. He enlisted as a private at the outbreak of the war with the First Regiment. He served in every engagement with his regiment at the front and was twice wounded by shrapnel. He got his lieutenancy in the field. As officer he was assigned to the command in which he had enlisted, Company G of the 109th Infantry."
Pages are 7.5 x 10".
