Newspaper Clippings: Willits. 101 scrapbook pages bound in a hard cover. Each page has newspaper clippings affixed to it. A hand-copied Index is found at the front of the book. Due to the fragile nature of this scrapbook it is found in the Library stacks in a large protective cardboard archival box.
This is truly a scrapbook rather than a published text. As such, it should properly be found in the Library shelves containing scrapbooks. However, it has been determined that since it has a call number, it would be catalogued as part of the Library collection. The spine of the archival box indicates call numbers L-1, 14 (clippings) and L-1, 15 (Willits). No evidence within the box is found for any clippings. A note on the first page of the scrapbook indicates: "Rev. I. Pearson Willits to page 65, first column". Consequently, this book has been catalogued as L-1, 15 (Willits).
This scrapbook contains numerous newspaper articles clipped and pasted to each page with a common theme: articles concerning all aspects of Germantown.Collection
