Photographs from Photo Scrapbook 25, page 32
Please see notes for additional information.
Page 32 contains two photographs with captions.
Photograph a [top] shows a man standing in a grassy lawn area with trees and some unidentified objects in the distance. He is dressed in rolled-up shirt sleeves and is wearing a tie and a straw "boater" hat. He is holding (for the camera) what appears to be a cigar box which is open to display a logo. That uprght box rests on what appears to be a closed box. In the left distance is a blurred figure of another man. The caption reads: Addison Savery handled the cigars like a professional, and only needed peanuts to complete his line.
Photograph b [bottom) shows a man dressed in rolled-up shirt sleeves, wearing a vest and a cap. He is bent (not quite kneeling) on the grass with his hands extended toward a metal "bird-like" sculpture as if feeding the bird. In the distance are the blurred outlines of some buildings. The caption reads: Tom MacDowell was strong on "pets" and in the absence of the ladies, began to find that daddy-long-legged bird in evidence on the green. By long-legged, I do not mean Roy Wolff - although he answered that description.Photograph Details
