Photographs from Photo Scrapbook 25, page 46
Please see notes for additional information.
Page 46 contains two photographs with captions.
Photograph a [top] shows a group of four men - three of whom are facing the camera, with one man on the right showing a side profile and facing the three men. Three of the men are wearing hats. One man is wearing a suit coat; another man is wearing a vest; another man is in shirt sleeves; and the forth man is somewhat obscured. Three of the men appear to be holding croquet mallets. In the distance are tree lines. The caption reads: Captain Schultz of the "Traffic Squad" stopped for a minute to listen to one of Mr. Morris's funny ones.
Photograph b [bottom] shows the same four men as in the above picture (2013.31.1.46a). However, in this photograph, all are showing a side profile and looking to the left. Three of the four men are wearing straw "boater" hats. The fourth man is only partially visible (his face is not visible at all) because he is standing behind the man in the foreground. The caption reads: "False alarm, - I thought it was a call to eat", said Mr. Walter Rosenberger.Photograph Details
