Photographs from Photo Scrapbook 25, page 56
Please see notes for additional information.
Page 56 contains two photographs with captions.
Photograph a [top] shows four men (all in shirtsleeves and all but one wearing a hat) standing in a grassy lawn area. Three of the men are watching one man (second from the left) take a golf swing. Behind them is a tree line. The caption reads: The usual golf rules prevailed and silence reigned supreme.
Photograph b [bottom] shows two men (one kneeling and the other bent at the waist) at the edge of a small round pond. In the pond at the left is a miniature steamboat; at the right is a miniature sailboat with two sails. In the center of the pond is a spray of water shooting upward. The men are observing the boats in the water. In the background are trees and a possible playing field. A sign protruding above a stone wall in the left background reads: Atlantic Gasoline. The caption reads: "Captain" Nusbaum could not get away from his nautical tendencies, and went "down to the sea in ships."Photograph Details
